A DENIM LASTING LOVE

A quick run down on how to wash and care for your pair of jeans. ( or denim in general)

One thing we should be very aware of is that even though your jeans is your casual “go to” pants, it still needs special care and treatment. The rules of washing, drying and ironing are simple.

Although it is highly urged that we do not wash our jeans a lot (Unless they have major stains), their first wash is the most important one. We all have our favorite pair of jeans, and we are more cautious over the dark ones since they fade and lose color easily. One tip I can give you to avoid such damage is to wash them in a 1 cup of vinegar and cold water (Machine wash). And if you didn't know, you should always turn your jeans inside out during washing time.

The duration between each time you wash them varies between once every 3 months to twice every six months. You are going to wonder how to get by when you need them freshened up now and then! I say freeze them. Yes, freeze your jeans over night, that way it kills the bacteria that cause them to go smelly.

Tips:

- Hang or properly fold to not, lose shape.

- Salt/Baby powder absorb oil. (Incase you spilt some while eating)

- Do not tumble dry; it causes the color to fade.

- When ironing, too much heat damages the fabric.

LEAD THE WAY

One thing about cold season, is that dark color palettes just goes utterly with it, there is some kind of warmness and comfortability in that. With springtime officially just two weeks away, the weather has been picking up perfectly.

Today was a great day to flaunt them legs and soak up some Vitamin D.

Je m'appelle Isabel

With their not so first collaboration with a fashion Designer, H&M does it again but this time bringing in to join forces, the one and only Isabel Marant.

The french designer, will be adding her parisian touch to the upcoming collection in November. Something that is definitely going to send all the fashionistas into a frenzy of anticipation and a guaranteed sell out.

The Ending...

Christmas festivities are pretty much my favorite time of the year, Maybe it is the only time I really feel like a kid again, being impatient till the clock hits 12 on Christmas Eve so I can start unwrapping the gifts planted under my tree. But I am one of these boring people who would rather spend NYE on the couch with a glass of red or hit the town looking for a place to have dinner and watch the fireworks.
