For those of you who don't know about the Metball, it is the Costume Institute Gala (or Costume Institute Ball), known as Metball or Metgala. This is where the stars of today can REALLY dress to impress and be fashion forward. It's the fashion industries 'Night of Nights'.
This year it was all about glamour and glitz. Metallic is to be the trending theme in fashion, and Jessica Rabbit for beauty - dark lips, lashes and luscious soft yet structured curls.

Camilla Belle in Ralph Lauren made me have a mini panic attack. I love the styling with the Vintage Ralph Lauren jewellery and refined make up. Flawless
Happily surprised when I spotted Lana Del Ray in Joseph Altuzarra. Perfect fit, perfect cape, just perfect.
Leighton Meester in Marchesa, tulle and gold... Duh! It's a MARCHESA. Not to mention, she's put on some weight and her body is amazing.
Jessica Stam wore this beautiful John Galliano for Christian Dior Couture. This photo does not do it justice, though. The AH-mazing embroidered ice blue dress was breathtaking with her ice blue eyes and striking black hair.
Kate Bosworth in custom made Prada. It was made for her (I say this to mean both litteral and expressional). Styled perfectly with a plaited bun.. can I say trend alert?? Get your plaited buns in tune ladies!!!
